Which is more important your bodybuilding workout or your bodybuilding nutrition plan?
Although most people would believe that training is the most important aspect of the bodybuilding regime, they are mistaken. Nutrition is by far the most important aspect. No matter how much you train, how many hours you put in at the gym, and how many reps you do; if your diet is lousy, you are never going to see the results you are hoping to attain. Although bodybuilding is about 50% on your workout, and 50% on choosing the right diet and nutrition plan to follow, if you do not do both in connection with the other, you are never going to get the results you want. There is no way that one will work without the other. But, if you want the optimal results you are looking for, your diet has to be perfect.
No matter what your bodybuilding goals are from, bulking up, to building lean muscle, you cannot separate the diet and training, both are required if you want to be successful. And, if you do not make sure that you are taking the proper steps in doing both, you are not going to get the results you want. Both nutrition and your training programs are important, but at different levels of the game (beginner, intermediate, and advanced bodybuilders), you are going to have to pay more attention to your diet and what you eat, in order to get the results quicker.
For beginners, you are really going to have to concentrate on your diet. Mastering the right nutrition plan, which foods to eat pre and post workout, which foods to completely avoid, etc, is essential for those who are just starting up in the sport. The reason for this is that early on, you are looking to lose extra fat, and build the muscle. So, cutting out the foods which are restricting this goal, is essential to get the desired results. Additionally, adding in new supplements and proteins is a great way to give your diet the extra boost it needs, to really boost the metabolism and burn the fat.
For intermediate level bodybuilders, you should start concentrating more on the training aspects. Once you have mastered your diet, now you can really concentrate on mastering the workout, and what is going to really build the muscle up.
Both diet and workout are essential to succeed in bodybuilding. Depending on which level of the game you are in, concentrating and mastering each, will depend on whether you are just starting out, or have been bodybuilding for years.
